Lawyer at the Paris Bar since 2003, Thomas Garancher specialises in environmental law and manages the firm's environmental law practice.
He assists his clients - companies and economic operators - in the infrastructure, energy, industry, and real estate/construction sectors. He provides advice as well as litigation support (administrative, criminal, environmental liability) at every stage of their projects, from authorisation to operation and restoration.
His activities include all aspects of permitting procedures for major infrastructure projects (environmental assessment, permit auditing, public participation, relations with the administration), industrial risk management (facilities classified for environmental protection (ICPE), polluted sites and soils, brownfield rehabilitation, waste), and environmental issues (biodiversity, natural and aquatic environments).
He is a lecturer in environmental law at Paris IX Dauphine University, and a member of the editorial board of the Bulletin du droit de l’environnement industriel (BDEI) and the International Nuclear Law Association (INLA).
