Ms. Shulda, vice chair of the firm’s Wichita employment and labor practice group, practices employment and labor law, including litigating employment disputes, counseling on compliance and litigation-avoidance tactics, and defending employers against claims of discrimination, wrongful termination, breach of contract, and whistleblower retaliation. She is recognized for her deep understanding of federal regulations, statutes, and Kansas employment laws, and frequently presents seminars to HR professionals. She is well-versed in federal statues such as the Family and Medical Leave Act, Americans with Disabilities, Title VII, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and Pregnancy Discrimination Act, and the Kansas Wage Payment Act. Ms. Shulda represents clients in federal and state courts, regulatory agency proceedings, and alternative dispute resolution forums.
