Tawia is the Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Ashong Benjamin & Associates with an extensive legal career, spanning over three decades. Tawia has garnered experience in Mining, Real Estate/ Property Transactions, Employment, Anti-Corruption, Corporate Governance, Estate Planning and Stakeholder Management. Tawia has participated in notable mining projects and transactions, advising on licensing and regulatory issues and drafting and negotiating agreements for the mining sector. Tawia has also done a significant amount of work in the development of anti-corruption programs for corporations which comply with the UK Bribery Act, the FCPA and Ghanaian laws on corruption.
