Tae-Yeon Cho is a founding member of Cho & Partners IP and one of Korea’s most experienced intellectual property practitioners. Over a career spanning more than 40 years, he has advised leading multinational companies on IP matters and helped shape Korea’s IP laws and enforcement framework.
Mr. Cho has served as lead counsel in numerous significant disputes before the Korean courts, including cases presenting novel issues in trademark law, copyright, unfair competition, and related areas of commercial law. His practice covers trademarks, designs, copyright, domain names, anti-counterfeiting, and strategic enforcement, with a particular focus on complex disputes and high-stakes litigation.
