Suzanne Rab specialises in competition law, EU law and regulation combining cartels, commercial practices, IP exploitation, merger control, public procurement, subsidy control/State aid. Suzanne’s practice has a particular focus on the interface between competition law and economic regulation. She advises governments, regulators and businesses across regulated sectors including the communications, energy, financial services, healthcare/pharmaceuticals, TMT and water sectors.
Suzanne advises on the development and application of regulation according to international best practices.
Suzanne has wide experience of data protection/information rights law, professional services regulation and education law.

Suzanne is a Professor at Brunel University London, Law Lecturer at Oxford University and Visiting Professor at Imperial College London. She is an expert panel member to the UK Regulators Network, a panel member of the Office for the Internal Market, expert advisor to the Bar Standards Board and a non-executive board member of the Legal Aid Agency and Press Recognition Panel. Suzanne is accredited as a mediator. As a solicitor prior to joining the bar, she has held positions at leading international law practices. She has held the role of director at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
