Sian joined Isadore Goldman in 2013 and is a Senior Associate within the firm.

Sian acts for a wide client base including Insolvency Practitioners, creditors and lenders, directors, partners, and private individuals.

Sian's contentious work includes bankruptcy/winding up petitions, traditional Insolvency Act claims such as preferences, transactions at undervalue and misfeasance claims. She has experience dealing with illegal dividend claims and director’s loan account claims. Section 216 and prohibited names is another area where Sian has expertise, both advising in relation to the exceptions and defending claims.

Sian’s has extensive knowledge in administration and deals with non-contentious insolvency work includes pre-packs and the sale of the business of a company in liquidation or administration.

Sian undertakes a significant amount of personal insolvency/bankruptcy work including realisations of assets, suspensions of discharge, and advising spouses of bankrupts in relation to any rights they may have in the matrimonial home.

Sian has been awarded the 2019 winner for rising star – SME at the Insolvency Practitioner Association awards.

Sian is also heavily involved in R3 as a committee member of the Eastern Region of R3, the Association of Business Recovery Professionals and a member of the R3 London Women’s Group.
