Shula de Jersey

Shula de Jersey, a partner in BCL Solicitors LLP, specialises in business crime and regulatory defence. She has considerable experience in representing individuals, including high net worth individuals, in high-profile and complex fraud, money laundering, bribery and corruption investigations particularly those conducted by the Serious Fraud Office. Her recent experience includes representing senior executives in the SFO investigations Airbus, De la Rue, Serco and Glencore SFO investigations as well as financial crime cases conducted by HMRC, NCA and the FCA.

Many of her cases are multi-jurisdictional investigations, including the US, France, and India, and she is experienced in working alongside, and co-ordinating with, teams of international lawyers. Recently she represented an English KC in respect of a high-profile corruption investigation in Trinidad & Tobago.

Qualified in 2006 at Russell Jones & Walker (now Slater & Gordon); joined BCL Solicitors LLP as a Partner in 2017.
