Shawn Fagan

Shawn Fagan is Chief Legal Officer of Citadel, where he leads the firm's global legal, compliance, transaction management and regulatory affairs functions. A member of Citadel's Portfolio Committee, he advises the firm's senior leadership on governance, regulatory matters, disputes and enforcement issues across multiple jurisdictions. Fagan joined Citadel in 2005 and prior to joining Citadel, he was a partner at Bartlit Beck and served as a clerk to Chief Justice William Rehnquist of the US Supreme Court and Judge Douglas H. Ginsburg of the US Court of Appeals for the the District of Columbia. He also serves on the boards of the US Chamber of Commerce and the Program on International Financial Systems.
