Shari Munk-Manel

Shari is the Management Partner of McMillan’s Montréal office as well as the practice group leader of McMillan’s Montréal Employment & Labour group. As part of her diverse labour and employment practice, she regularly provides counsel to employers with respect to all areas of employment and labour law, including hiring, performance management, employment standards, employment policies, human rights issues, compensation plans, employee terminations and severance packages. She also assists international clients with establishing business operations in Québec and provides counsel to vendors and purchasers on the employment and labour aspects of complex corporate transactions. Shari is an experienced litigator representing employers before the various Québec courts, administrative boards and tribunals and assisting clients with the resolution of disputes. A thought leader on employment law in Québec, Shari is frequently writing and speaking on topics of interest. She regularly provides tailored educational sessions for clients on both side of the borders.
