Career

Shane is an employment law specialist who covers the full spectrum of areas arising in this field. Contractual disputes and discrimination claims in multi-week cases are the mainstay of his practice. He has particular expertise representing respondents and claimants in discrimination claims against police, NHS trusts, law firms, City financial institutions and charities. His expertise extends to representing professionals responding to allegations of professional misconduct and issues affecting professional registration before their relevant professional standards committee.

Shane is experienced in conducting cases in the Employment Appeal Tribunal.

Shane is sought after for his abilities as an advocate who brings a precision to cross examination and has good tactical awareness in difficult cases. He is also instructed in the early stages of cases in advising and in building a case which has some evidential vigour and traction at the final hearing.
