Shalia Sakona is Of Counsel in Quinn Emanuel’s Miami office. She joined the firm in 2024. Her practice spans a broad array of complex commercial litigation matters, including in the areas of class action defense, shareholder litigation, trade secret litigation, antitrust, business torts, corporate governance, partnership disputes, real property and land use disputes, financial services and securities, sports and entertainment, contracts and indemnification, and appeals. Prior to joining the firm, Shalia was a partner at a top Florida law firm, where she was a key member of several teams that secured multi-million dollar jury verdicts, including the largest opt-out antitrust verdict in American history. She has also conceived of, drafted, and argued numerous case dispositive motions and appeals, including based on novel legal theories, that saved her clients millions of dollars in legal fees and alleged damages.
