Sébastien Vilder

Sébastien is Managing Partner of the Montreal Office. He specializes in project financing. He has been involved in numerous bank and project financings in Canada, Europe, Africa and Asia. Other areas of expertise include renewable energy and infrastructure projects. He acts for financial institutions, investment funds, development banks, sponsors and companies.

Sébastien recently advised the sponsor on two financings of battery storage projects (representing a total capacity of 380 MW), in Ontario. Sébastien acted also for a syndicate of lenders on a financing for the Apuiat wind farm in Quebec, with a capacity of 204 MW and the financing is approximately C$608 million.

On the strength of his expertise, he is recognized by his peers and clients, and by in many publications; his track record in energy and project finance is very impressive over the last 20 years.

Career

Sébastien has also taught at McGill University on project financing and is frequently asked to participate as moderator or speaker at conferences on project financing.
