Sebastien Crepy is a Partner in Gide's Corporate/Mergers & Acquisitions team in Paris.

Sebastien focuses on private equity transactions, with particular expertise in leveraged buy-outs (LBOs) and growth capital investments. Ranked by Chambers among the leading private equity lawyers in France (Band 2), he advises numerous investment funds and founders on complex LBO and growth capital transactions, as well as industrial groups on acquisitions, build-up strategies and corporate reorganisations.

His recent experience includes advising on the LBO of the Implid Group structured by EMZ Partners, advising BEX Capital’s partners in connection with the strategic partnership between BEX Capital and Sagard, and advising on the LBO of the Orisha group structured by Francisco Partners and TA Associates. Sébastien has over 20 years’ experience in leading Anglo-Saxon law firms in France and Australia. Prior to joining Gide, he was a Partner within Paul Hastings' Corporate department. He is an Associate Member of the Law Society of New South Wales (Australia).

He graduated from EM Lyon Business School (Grande École Program) and Université Paris II- Panthéon-Assas, and also holds a Diploma in Law from the Legal Profession Admission Board, Sydney (Australia).
