Sébastien Besson has acted as counsel, arbitrator and legal expert in more than 200 international and domestic arbitrations, in ad hoc proceedings and under a variety of institutional arbitration rules (including ICC, Swiss Rules, ICSID, LCIA, UNCITRAL, CAM and CAS rules). He also advises and represents parties in arbitration related court proceedings in Switzerland, including applications for the annulment, revision and enforcement of Swiss and foreign arbitral awards.
He has significant experience in cases relating to the banking and finance, oil and gas, construction, pharmaceuticals, automotive, aeronautics and sports industries, as well as in disputes relating to M&A transactions and arising from shareholders' agreements, and sales and distribution contracts.
