Sebastián Pedro Vedoya

Sebastián advises local and foreign companies on mining and hydrocarbon issues, including the analysis and counseling on any legal issue in connection with the mentioned industries and also with matters related to contracts, the environment, foreign exchange, foreign trade, financing, application for and grant of permits, and other issues specifically related to the development of mining and hydrocarbon projects, whether at exploration, construction and operation stages. He has participated in several acquisitions of mining and hydrocarbon projects, joint ventures created for the development of this type of projects and in assignments of mining properties and hydrocarbon concessions, including due diligence and title assessment, draft and analysis of contracts, assistance in the preparation of Feasibility Studies, counseling to binational Argentine-Chilean projects, among others. He has also actively participated in the design and preparation of rules and regulations related to the mining activity, and the protection and defense of the rights of clients under promotional systems specifically applied to their business.

Before becoming a partner of the Firm, he was a member and partner between 2008 and 2014, together with Mr. Arbeleche, of Natural Resources and Environmental Departments of prestigious law firms specialized in such areas of practice.
