Carlos E Lombardi

Carlos has extensive experience in legal and regulatory advice to banks. His areas of expertise include banking, corporate finance and capital markets transactions. He has acted as legal advisor to Senior Management of various banks, a role he has performed over the years. Throughout the past he has worked in several banking and corporate finance transactions with most of the leading banks in Argentina. Among other transactions, he advised in the structuring of the Argentine Central Bank safety nets. In 1988, he acted in one of the first issues completed by Argentine companies in the field of capital markets transactions. From then on, he has participated in several capital market transactions, including the issues of debt securities and IPO’s. In 1995, he led the team that advised and represented an international bank in the development of the innovative legal and regulatory framework for securitization transactions in Argentina. He has a strong background in a variety of securitization and structure finance transactions. Mr. Lombardi has participated in a number of M&A transactions, primarily in the banking and financial sector. He specializes in investment funds and asset management, and has also been involved in major conflicts.
