Career

Sebastian is a partner based in our London office. Sebastian is an IP litigator, with a focus on life sciences. Sebastian is recognised by the legal directories as a leading patent litigator and regularly acts for clients such as Roche, Gilead, Takeda, Sanofi in UK litigation, EPO oppositions and in coordinating actions on a pan-European basis. He has also represented clients in two important references on SPC matters to the CJEU and has been involved in three further CJEU references. Sebastian is a solicitor advocate with rights of audience in all civil proceedings in the UK and he is a Unified Patents Court representative. Sebastian is also a guest lecturer at the University of London (on the Certificate of Intellectual Property course and the LLM course in International and Comparative Patent Law) and a tutor on the Oxford University Diploma in Intellectual Property Law and Practice.
