Andrew Cannon

Andrew Cannon is based in London, from where he co-leads the international arbitration and public international law groups. He regularly acts for African governments and is also well versed in assisting international investors operating in sectors such as oil and gas and financial services.

Andrew Cannon co-heads the firm's international arbitration and public international law practices, and has previously acted as a legal adviser to the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office. Areas of strength include advising on human rights issues and maritime disputes for a range of clients.

Andrew Cannon is global co-head of international arbitration and of public international law at Herbert Smith. He is based in London and has experience in advising public clients in Sierra Leone.
