Sean Suber

Sean is a trial and appellate lawyer who focuses his practice on complex litigation, class actions, product liability, and mass tort matters. He represents clients in a wide range of industry sectors, with a focus on guiding clients through all phases of litigation in the consumer products, media & entertainment, technology, and health care industries.

Sean has represented dozens of companies and individuals in high-profile cases, trials, appeals, and arbitrations. He routinely advises and represents clients that offer services to consumers or other businesses. Whether it is a claim of false advertising, defamation, a defective product, or a regulatory investigation or lawsuit, Sean focuses his practice on representing his clients to help them defend their reputations, brands, and businesses both inside and outside the courtroom.

He has extensive experience advising clients to avoid costly litigation but, when lawsuits are filed, Sean has crafted countless winning litigation strategies to either obtain an early dismissal or navigate cases through mediations, discovery, dispositive motions, trials, and appeals. He is experienced in all phases of litigation, including case assessment and strategy development; briefing and arguing motions in state and federal courts; managing all aspects of discovery in both complex and multidistrict litigation; taking and defending depositions; negotiating mediations and settlements; handling all aspects of trial preparation, trial, and arbitration; and briefing and arguing appeals in state and federal courts across the country.

Sean also maintains an active pro bono practice, representing indigent defendants in criminal matters and partnering with non-profits in litigation and appellate matters to dismantle systematic inequities in the criminal justice system.
