Work Highlights
Sara acted for a father in complex and protracted Children Act proceedings, securing a shared care agreement (caring for the children every other week), despite the mother’s fierce opposition.
Acted for a wife and mother in a case of limited assets and successfully secured a financial settlement which enabled her to buy a property for her and the child, ensuring financial security for their future.
Acted for a husband who had built up a thriving business during the marriage. Following a successful negotiation, the wife was persuaded to take a lump sum, rather than the shares she originally sought, allowing the husband to retain control of his interest in the business.
Acted for the father in a widely reported case resulting in a landmark decision that clarified the laws about declarations of paternity.
Has regularly secured cost orders for clients in children proceedings (requiring one parent to pay the other parent’s legal costs). These are exceptional orders and are a testimony to the determination and vigour applied to her cases.
