Sara deal with the franchise agreement and related negotiations, preparation, and review of all types of sale, service, supply, lease, and any other commercial contracts, labor disputes, state registration of the changes in the constituent documents, and application for permits and licenses for the company.

As a senior associate at VLM, Sara consistently provides our clients with tailored contracts and insightful advice on intellectual property, data protection, and other legal matters. Moreover, Secured M&A approval from the competition authority for a leading oil and gas company in Azerbaijan, one of the first approvals granted under the newly adopted Competition Code.

Spearheaded legal work on several renewable energy projects (solar and wind) in Azerbaijan, including drafting and negotiating Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), obtaining licenses and approvals, and managing project-related documentation.

In addition to her aforementioned legal practice, she has volunteered for international non-governmental and governmental organizations which have enriched her with different legal, organizational, and administrative skill sets.
