Career

Samantha is a member of the firm’s Tax Group and focuses her practice on estate and trust planning, international tax and trust planning, estate administration, and taxation law. She is a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and the American Bar Foundation. She has been recognized as Rising Star in estate planning and probate by Mid-South Super Lawyers®, as well as by Best Lawyers in America® for tax law. She is a Certified Public Accountant who has served in many positions with the Mississippi Society of Certified Public Accountants, including Secretary, Millennial Chair of the Taxation Committee and President of the Central Chapter.

She obtained her Bachelor of Accountancy, M. Tax, and J.D. from the University of Mississippi and her LL.M. in Taxation from New York University. She is admitted to the State Bar of Mississippi, the U.S. District Courts for both Districts of Mississippi and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
