Specialises in cases concerning children including public law care cases; complex private law cases (e.g. child arrangements; declarations of parentage); alternative family law – surrogacy (including international); family creation; adoption, including inter country adoption.
Experienced in representing children of all ages (either on the instruction of the Children's Guardian or separately when competent), Children's Guardians, parents and other family members.
Career
Qualified in 1993 at Allen & Overy. Joined Atkins Hope in Croydon (1994-2000). Joined Russell-Cooke LLP in Kingston in 2000 and became Partner in 2004. Since 1994 has specialised in children law. Samantha is the head of the Children Department at Russell-Cooke LLP. Samantha was the winner of the LAPG Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year Award in 2008.

Law Society Children Panel (since 1998). Resolution (formerly Solicitors' Family Law Association) - currently Member of the Legal Aid Committee; accredited specialist in adoption, public law children and private law children. Association of Lawyers for Children (ALC). National Association of Guardians ad litem and Reporting Officers.
