Salman Mahmood has been practicing law since 1996. He started his practice in Pakistan where he advised a number of international and domestic energy companies in the power and upstream oil & gas sectors.

Early 2007, Salman Mahmood joined Sultan Al-Abdulla & Partners and has focused on commercial disputes including construction arbitrations, energy, infrastructure, syndicated finance, debt restructurings, capital markets and TMT. Salman assists a diverse range of corporate and institutional clients in projects, dispute management and negotiations, public tenders and awards, taxation and special economic zones.
