Rosalee McNamara represents businesses and organizations in employment and litigation matters throughout the United States. Due to her extensive litigation and trial experience, she is frequently asked to conduct confidential sensitive internal investigations, in which promptness is paramount. She then works with employers post-investigation to implement recommended actions. Rosalee also regularly conducts training including anti-harassment, non-discrimination, unconscious bias, transgender sensitivity, and one-on-one coaching.
Rosalee has successfully defended a variety of employment discrimination complaints and collective actions, and has handled numerous court and jury trials in federal and state courts, including class/collective actions, individual and multi-party lawsuits. She regularly defends and counsels clients regarding claims of sexual and other harassment, disability, race, age, sex, national origin, and religious discrimination, Family and Medical Leave Act, Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act and related issues, hiring and reference procedures, employee discipline and termination, employee drug and alcohol testing policies and procedures, collective action wage and overtime claims, employee benefits, and noncompetition agreements. She handles discrimination charges with the goal of not just winning, but also preventing a lawsuit and additional claims.
