Rocío Liu

Rocío Liu is a highly experienced tax specialist with a remarkable career spanning over 30 years. Her expertise extends to tax advisory, corporate structuring, mergers and acquisitions, and tax litigation, with a particular focus on tax matters in sectors such as natural resources, finance, and telecommunications. Rocío has also played a pivotal role in international tax arbitrations.

Before joining Damma Legal Advisors, Rocío served as the lead partner of the tax practice at Miranda & Amado from 2003 to 2019 and held senior positions at Hernández & Rossello and Luis Hernández Berenguel Abogados from 1993 to 2003.

She is a member of the International Fiscal Association (IFA) and the Peruvian Institute of Taxation Law (IPDT), recognized by national entities, and holds a license as a tax court attorney.

She holds a law degree from the Catholic Pontifical University of Peru (PUCP) and an LL.M. from The University of Lima. Rocío Liu is a professor at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Peru for more than 23 years and is an active contributor to legal seminars and conferences organized by prominent institutions, including SNMPE, SNI, AmCham, CCPL, CAL, IFA, and IPDT. Her extensive experience and expertise make her a sought-after advisor in the field of tax law.
