Iván Chu

Ivan specializes in providing strategic tax advisory services for local and international operations involving high-net worth individuals and families. His practice encompasses a range of private wealth law aspects, including tax considerations for banking and finance projects and broader corporate tax advisory services.

He is particularly recognized for his expertise in devising tax-efficient structures for mergers and acquisitions, investment funds, and various investment projects. With a focus on practical solutions, Ivan continues to excel as a leading figure in this specialized field.

Before he joined the Firm, he was partner and co-founder of CDA Lawyers, partner at Payet, Rey, Cauvi, Perez Law Firm and partner at Rebaza, Alcazar & De Las Casas Lawyers. He also worked for the Chief Counsel Office for the Internal Revenue Service – IRS in Washington D.C, and at the Legal National Intendancy of the Peruvian Tax Administration – SUNAT.

As an active member of legal organizations, Ivan has notably served as a Director at the Peruvian Institute of Taxation Law (IPDT) and contributes to the Tax Committee of the Private Corporate Institutions National Confederation (CONFIEP). He is also a member of the Lima Bar Association.
