Practice Areas

Rob Weir KC specialises in all aspects of personal injury and clinical negligence and the impact of the Human Rights Act on those areas. He works for both claimants and defendants, with a particular emphasis on brain injury cases including cerebral palsy birth claims, spinal injury cases, group actions, asbestos and other occupational illness claims, and on personal injury claims with a foreign element.

Rob is regularly instructed in appeal cases. He has acted in 5 cases in the Supreme Court in the last 12 months including a case on consent in clinical negligence and on secondary victims. Acting for APIL/MASS in ongoing appeal concerning new statutory whiplash regime.
