Career

Richard Nugent has more than 20 years of experience advising on public and private M&A deals, spin-offs (particularly Reverse Morris Trusts) and post-acquisition integrations and other internal restructurings, and advising debtors, creditors and prospective purchasers of distressed companies within and outside bankruptcy. Richard also advises on debt and equity financings and other capital markets transactions, and joint ventures. He is a member of the Tax Forum and the Executive Committee of the New York State Bar Association Tax Section.
