Richard Honey KC practises in public and environmental law, with particular specialisms in judicial review, infrastructure projects, compulsory purchase and compensation, and climate change and ESG litigation. Frequently appears in Court of Appeal, Admin/Planning Court and Upper Tribunal. Recent work includes DCOs, TWAOs, CPOs, flood defences, railways, airports, highways, ports and energy developments. Environmental work includes ESG litigation, climate change, emissions trading, environmental assessment, contaminated land, and protected habitats and species. Acts as party representative in mediation and sits as an arbitrator.

Called to the Bar at Inner Temple (2003; silk 2021) and Northern Ireland (2013). Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Associate tenant, KBW Chambers, Leeds. Member of the Bar Library, Belfast.
