Richard Dickinson has over 20 years’ experience of transactional intellectual property and advises on the full suite of IP-related agreements and IP strategies. He specialises in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sector and has a strong track record in the technology, media and telecoms sector amongst other IP rich sectors. He has completed secondments in the industries that he specialises in.
Richard also advises on the regulatory aspects of IP including data protection/privacy, advertising and sponsorship.
Richard’s client base ranges from large to small listed and unlisted private companies, particularly those clients where the brand is a global household name.
Richard’s experience includes advising on a range of collaboration, sale/acquisition and licensing agreements (in particular those involving intellectual property assets); commercialization arrangements; distribution, supply and manufacturing contracts; content issues; advertising clearance advice; data protection policies and data processing arrangements; outsourcing, software and hardware contracts, including Internet and new technology matters. He has particular experience of acting on transactions involving multiple jurisdictions.
