Ricardo Abogabir

Ricardo is one of the partners of Ried Fabres. His practice focuses on capital markets, banking and finance and corporate law.

He permanently renders services to issuers and underwriters in local and international bond offerings; stockbrokers and dealers; local and foreign fund managers; and important players of both the local and international derivatives markets.

He is in charge of the derivatives area of our Firm actively rendering permanent legal counselling to BCI Group, Consorcio, Coopeuch, ILC, Metro S.A. and Santander in drafting and negotiating ISDA agreements and structuring new derivatives products.

Also, he provides legal counsel to local stockbrokers and fund managers in connection with capital markets matters, including the registration and approval of foreign funds by the applicable regulators in Chile.

He permanently advises fund managers such as BCI, Ameris Capital, Taurus, Venturance, Credicorp Capital, Falcom and others, in the structuring and negotiation of deals for their respective funds regarding debt securities and alternative assets.

He has also obtained experience from his experience at Dechert LLP, New York Office, where he participated in the IPO of SMU S.A. and in the preparation of annual reports of Chilean entities subject to the supervision of the SEC.
