Career

Founding partner Renato Faria practices in litigation and advisory tax matters, focusing mainly on consulting, especially in the real estate and advertising industries. He has extensive experience in international transactions, corporate reorganization and planning, real estate transactions, structured operations in the stock market, funds and investments. Renato has worked for the Big Four and operates with accounting matters on a daily basis. He also advises in the areas of administrative and court litigation, with emphasis on direct taxes and local taxation system. Renato served as a substitute judge of the Local Tax Board of São Paulo (2018/2020 biennium).

Personal

He is also a Tax Law professor for graduate studies at USP’s Polytechnic School and at the Brazilian Institute of Tax Law (IBDT), where he is an associate member. He is one the coordinating editors of the works (books) “Real Estate Operations: Structuring and Taxation” and “Taxation of the Digital Economy” and is frequently involved in the coordination of courses and seminars related to tax and wealth planning matters.
