Head of our Corporate and M&A area, José Ricardo is responsible for managing the practice. With almost 30 years of experience, he has significant expertise with complex corporate reorganizations, joint ventures and M&A projects. José constantly advises large national and international corporate groups, investors, and also private equity and venture capital funds. José Ricardo has sound international experience and a multidisciplinary approach, which was complemented with his practical experience abroad. He worked as a foreign consultant at Sidley Austin LLP and at Stairs Dillenbeck Finley, both located in New York City.
He holds an LL.M. in Corporate Law from the New York University. With such an enriched experience in the corporate, M&A and compliance industries, he is considered a leading attorney in these areas in Brazil.
