Remco Klöters

Remco Klöters is an inspired and incisive intellectual property and media law attorney with over twenty years of experience.

He is an expert in (international) trademark law, trade name law, all aspects of copyright law, design law, in privacy issues and unlawful (press) publications.

Thorough, creative and tenacious, with the gift of the gab. Remco has very broad experience in litigating before civil courts, as well as in trademark disputes before the Benelux Intellectual Property Office and the EU Intellectual Property Office. In addition, he handles complaint proceedings before the Dutch Press Council and the Advertising Code Committee.

Remco is an active member of various international networks such as the International Trademark Association (INTA), including serving as vice-chair of the Parallel Import Committee in 2022 and 2023 and from 2024 onward as a member of the Enforcement Committee. For Marques, the European brand owner organization, Remco currently contributes to the objectives of the European Trademark Law and Practice Team.

In addition, Remco regularly publishes and speaks on various topics within his expertise and provides courses within Post Academic Education.
