Rebecca works entirely for the public sector, advising Homes England, Ebbsfleet Development Corporation and a large number of local authorities and London Boroughs on delivery of key projects. Rebecca has particular expertise in delivery of infrastructure to open up opportunities for housing and communities to come forward, including a number of garden communities. Complexities of land ownership inevitably mean that to enable these projects to progress collaboration and option agreements with multiple landowners (both public and private) are increasingly required on which Rebecca often advises, along with the usual site assembly (at one end of the process) and developer procurement (at the other) elements. She has also advised grant-giving authorities on the set-up and delivery of government grant funding programmes to enable developments to go forward as well as acting for a number of grant recipient authorities who are looking to make use of grant funding to deliver much-needed infrastructure.
