Rebecca is a highly experienced family lawyer and mediator having worked in this area of law for over 25 years.
Her expertise in financial matters enables her to provide a holistic service to clients on separation and divorce, whether via mediation, constructive negotiation or litigation.
She has a particular specialism in dealing with finances on divorce and regularly advises on matters where there may be high value assets, such as large pension funds, businesses or large capital funds.
An accredited mediator, supervisor of mediators and Collaborative Lawyer, she is also able to consult with children.
Her experience in complex children and financial matters sees her dealing with cases where there is an international element or where violence, mental health, substance use, complex criminal issues or implacable hostility may be issues.
She has a particular interest in cases where there may be issues of implacable hostility, relocation or where cases maybe listed for a fact-finding hearing.
In addition, Rebecca has experience in cases of emergency protection for children, removal from a parent/guardian and removal from jurisdiction.

She also has substantial experience in advising on issues where other family members such as grandparents etc are caring for children or are wanting to maintain a relationship with their grandchildren.
Her strong children law knowledge is combined with her excellent knowledge on education law. She provides clear and succinct advice to schools on all family law issues and also represents education establishments when applications are needed to courts on issues of disclosure in family proceedings.
She works nationally and is based in Stone King’s Bath office.
