Ravi is a distinguished legal expert specializing in maritime law, currently serving as the Partner and Head of the Shipping Department (Contentious) at Fichte & Co. With an LLM in Maritime Law from the University of Southampton, Ravi has carved a niche in highly specialized areas such as marine insurance, carriage of goods by sea, and international trade law. Before joining Fichte & Co, Ravi led the insurance department at a top offshore construction company in Abu Dhabi. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing a broad range of contentious insurance matters, further cementing his reputation as an authority in dispute resolution. His earlier experience with leading international litigation law firms in Mumbai saw him handling complex, high-stakes disputes, honing his expertise in arbitration and litigation.

Ravi has a proven track record of navigating contentious and non-contentious arbitrations, resolving multifaceted disputes involving major corporate and individual clients. His expertise spans all types of charter parties, insurance disputes, bills of lading issues, and intricate international trade disputes, often involving multi-jurisdictional complexities across the UAE and GCC.
