Practice Areas
Rahim is Global Co-Chair of the Firm’s international arbitration practice. He has extensive experience in international commercial arbitration, investor-state arbitration and transnational litigation. He is often tasked with coordinating global dispute resolution strategies for his clients in their most complex disputes. That often includes working with local counsel in various jurisdictions, public relations consultants and investigators. He also advises clients on matters of international law and sits as arbitrator in complex international cases. Rahim has experience conducting arbitrations under all of the major arbitration rules (including ICSID, ICC, LCIA, UNCITRAL, ICDR, SIAC and HKIAC), litigating related matters in various courts, and working across numerous industries (including energy, mining, telecommunications, financial services, infrastructure, construction, electronics and consumer products).
Career
Rahim teaches an advanced international arbitration course at Columbia Law School and has published several books and articles on matters of international arbitration and international law.
