Rafael Macedo Malheiro

Rafael focuses his work on tax advisory (direct taxes), M&A transactions, debt restructuring, infrastructure and capital market, corporate reorganizations, wealth planning and income tax administrative litigation. Rafael has extensive expertise in complex tax structures, which allows him to provide high-level advisory services that support significant transactions and corporate strategies. He stands out for his work in direct taxation.

Malheiro is also a guest professor of extension courses at the Brazilian Institute of Tax Law – IBDT (Fundamentals and Controversies of Individual Income Tax) and at the Paulista Association of Tax Studies – APET (Taxation of Real Estate Activity – Equalization to Legal Entities), and is the author of several articles published in books and journals specialized in Tax Law.
