Rafael Fernando Feldmann focuses his practice on Environmental Law and Public Law.
In the environmental field, he has 18 years of experience and has worked on more than 300 financial transactions (M&A, IPOs, debt offerings, among others) involving environmental legal due diligence. His practice spans a wide range of industries, including agribusiness, food, energy, mining, oil and gas, sanitation, chemical, pharmaceutical, technology, retail, and many others. Rafael also coordinates and represents clients in environmental litigation across all these sectors, both in administrative and judicial proceedings, having handled more than 400 cases in this area. He is frequently mentioned in the press and consistently recognized as a leading practitioner by prestigious legal market publications, such as Chambers Latin America (annually since 2010).
In the field of public law, Rafael has extensive experience in oil and gas regulation in Brazil, having worked on claims and consultations as well as serving as legal representative of operators before the industry’s regulatory agency (ANP). His work in this area also involves interaction with other agencies and public entities, such as ANTAQ, MAPA, MB, ANVISA, MJ, TCU, ANAS, DAEE, and DPF, among others.
