Career

Prior to joining rradar, Priya had worked as a Legal Executive for 12 years at various companies and Law firms, gaining great experience advising and representing both employers and employees in the Employment Tribunal in both England and Scotland as a lay representative. To capitalise on this experience, Priya undertook the Law Society of Scotland's alternative route to qualification, joining rradar in February 2022 as a Trainee Solicitor. Because of her wealth of experience and exemplary performance, Priya was able to complete her traineeship in less than the required time, with the Law Society's approval, and qualified in December 2023, immediately being made an Associate Solicitor in recognition of her ability. Having represented a broad spectrum of clients including SMEs, Trade Unions, care providers, security companies and more, Priya has stood out when representing her clients in the Employment Tribunal, Employment Appeal Tribunal and Court of Session covering all areas of Employment Law.

Alongside rradar's unique way of working, Priya has also this year carved out a niche for providing proactive training to clients on HR and Employment Law matters, and has received wide praise from clients as this training has resulted in clients avoiding legal claims being made against them. Priya has also been involved in numerous webinars and insurance broker training sessions throughout this year, improving her relationship with key stakeholders within the industry.
