Philippe Rens is a partner at Argo. While his professional focus is on tax law in general, Philippe has gathered significant particular experience in corporate, personal income tax, registration duties and VAT. Philippe is also heading the fund structuring department whereby he assists private equity, venture capital and other investment funds with their set-up from a legal, tax and regulatory perspective.

Career

Philippe is a graduate of the University of Antwerp (Law degree, 2000) and obtained his Master in Tax Law in 2001. He has been a member of the Bar since 2001. He worked at Linklaters from 2001 to 2011 and at Reliance from 2011 to 2013. Philippe joined ARGO, as a founding partner, in 2013.

Professional Memberships

Philippe is member of the tax & legal committee of the Belgian venture capital and private equity association (BVA), the Antwerp Bar and of the International Fiscal Association (IFA).

Publications

Philippe has authored several articles on tax law topics.
