Philip has significant experience of advising on complex cross-border transactions. He advises public listed and private companies, financial institutions and state owned entities on a broad range of corporate and commercial transactions and regulatory matters, including public and private M&A, private equity, joint ventures, fund raising, corporate and securities law issues and large commercial contracts.
Philip has more than 20 years’ experience as a partner in Reed Smith’s Global Corporate Group. During that time, he has advised on several hundred corporate transactions and has been a member of the firm’s global Executive Committee.
Philip’s practice spans a number of industry sectors, including: entertainment and media; insurance (including mutual marine insurance); private equity; technology; manufacturing; corporate real estate investment; and commodities.
He has acted on some of the highest profile transactions in those sectors over the last 20 years.
