Dimitris Assimakis

Dimitris advises Greek and international clients on regulatory matters, M&A, project financing, and capital markets and privatization transactions. He is a partner in the Global Corporate Group based in Athens.

Dimitris serves private and state-owned companies, as well as financial institutions that invest in or lend to companies operating in Greece.

Dimitris’s work is focused on power and gas, energy infrastructure, renewable energy and clean technologies.

Previously, Dimitris worked for the European Parliament and the European Commission. He is a member of the Greek Energy Lawyers Association, the Hellenic Wind Energy Association and a support member of Hellenic Association of Photovoltaic Companies.

He studied law at the University of Athens and obtained a master's degree from the Free University of Brussels. He is registered with the Athens Bar Association. He is fluent in Greek and English, has a good knowledge of French and has a basic knowledge of Italian.
