Peter Griffin KC

Peter is recognised by his peers as a top litigator in Canada with extensive experience in corporate commercial litigation, class actions, securities, insolvency and restructuring, professional liability, and director and officer liability. He has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario and the common-law provinces, and before the Supreme Court of Canada. He regularly advises boards of national and multinational companies. He represents clients in arbitration and alternative dispute resolution proceedings and acts as an arbitrator in commercial disputes. Peter is Past President of The Advocates’ Society, a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and Past Chair of its Ontario Province Committee. In 2023, Peter received the King’s Counsel designation in recognition of his commitment to the pursuit of legal excellence in service to the Crown, the public and their communities.
