Peter A Isola

In addition to his role as Senior Partner, Peter Isola leads the Private Client team, which has been at the vanguard of private client practice in Gibraltar for some decades. As the founder and first elected Chairman of the Gibraltar branch of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, Peter has been at the forefront of Gibraltar’s development as a jurisdiction for private client business.

Peter has been on a variety of Government committees shaping the private client offering in Gibraltar and sat on the Government’s Personal Residency Offering Group, which was tasked with considering and evaluating the personal residency offering available in Gibraltar.

Peter participated in the Government committee which modernized and overhauled Gibraltar’s taxation legislation culminating in today’s Gibraltar Income Tax Act. As the then STEP Chairman, working with other professionals, he conceptualized and drove private client legislation covering Private Trust Companies, Foundations and Purpose Trusts.

He also co-authored chapters relating to trusts and succession planning as well as the administration of trusts for Tottel Publishing.

Peter is the trusted adviser of some very high-profile ultra-high net worth families. He is also a trustee of The Kusuma Trust and The Peter J. Isola Foundation, both Gibraltar charities.
