Career
Pedro Henrique Mendonça has been acting in the sports industry for more than a decade (including a long period as an in-house counsel at the Brazil Olympic Committee), developing a broad experience acting on behalf of clubs, athletes, agents and national federations, both in contentious and non- contentious matters.
He also has a strong background related to important international events – such as the 2012 and 2016 Olympic Games, the 2015 Pan- American Games and the FIFA 2014 World Cup.
Personal
Pedro teaches Sports Law at specialization programs of CEDIN (Brazil), PUC-RIO (Brazil), ESA/SP (Brazil), Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa (Portugal) and Gujarat National Law University (India). Master in Transnational Law and LL.M International Business Law from Católica Global School of Law (Portugal), he holds postgraduate certificates in Corporate Law from and in Sports Law.
Pedro serves as Editorial Board Member of Law in Sport (Central, South America & Caribbean Division), and is an Arbitrator on the CBMA Sports Arbitration list.
