Pedro A Perera

Pedro Perera specialises in civil, commercial, IP and constitutional litigation before Venezuelan courts and arbitral tribunals. Pedro has been involved in arbitration as attorney in fact and as arbitrator in arbitration processes at the Center of Conciliation and Arbitration (CEDCA) and the Arbitration Center of the Caracas Chamber. Pedro joined D’Empaire in 1983 and became partner in 1990. He studied law at Universidad Central de Venezuela (JD, 1983) and received a master’s degree in procedural law from the same university (1989). He has taught courses of commercial law at Universidad Metropolitana (1991–1993), civil law at Universidad Católica Andrés Bello (2004–2006) and procedural law at that same university (1997–2010).
