Paulo Luiz de Toledo Piza

Paulo Piza is a partner of law firm Ernesto Tzirulnik Advocacia, which he joined in 1991. He has been successfully involved in highly complex litigations in and outside the country, and he is also praised for his legal opinions and for his strategic and unique approach of insurance and reinsurance key market and regulatory issues. Torts and contractual liability as well as transport of goods are also among the other areas of law to which he is especially dedicated. He has been involved in arbitration disputes and act as Brazilian Law expert in depositions. He graduated in Law from the Law School of University of São Pauloa and he holds a master’s degree in International Law and a PhD in Law from the same Law School. He also got an MBA degree in Financial and Actuarial Risk Management from the School of Economics of the same university. He published many articles and essays in specialized journals, and he currently gives lectures by invitation on Insurance and Reinsurance Law.
